To Whom It May Concern:
I am very interested in your graduate program that combines a nutrition
internship and an MBA. I have enclosed my resume for
your review.
In May 2011, I will receive a B.S. in Nutrition from the University of Tennessee
Knoxville. I am specifically interested in the sports nutrition field and have
had some prior work experience in the field as well as other experince
pertaining to the food industry field. This past year I interned with the UT
Sports Dietician and helped her with any daily activities she needed help with,
which included anything from stocking the supplement shelves, making the
athletes their post-workout supplement shakes, or helping distribute bus meals
to the football team. The past two summers I interned with ACH Food Company as
a food development intern and helped on various food development projects.
I am very personable and dependable. I quickly make friends and have good
relations with the people I worked with. I am hard working and always finished
the tasks I was given in a reasonable amount of time, putting in one hundred
percent effort into whatever I was working on. I am very capable of
muti-tasking and was able to balance simultaneously working on different
projects.
I would like to be considered for acceptance into your program. I think your
program would be the best fit for me because of the double degree it offers.
Since I am very interested in both fields, this degree would help better further
my career goals. I will be able to have exposure to both the business and
nutrition aspects. Additionally, since this program is fairly new and unique, I
would feel very privileged to have the opportunity to be a part of your
program. I am happy to discuss any further questions you might have or any
additional information you might need for me. Thank you so much for your time
and consideration.
Sincerely,
Nicole White
